What if the issue is intermittent and not happening when I bring the car in?
Intermittent faults can still often be traced using stored data and testing. The more detail you can provide about when it happens, the better, however some issues are unable to be reliably diagnosed until the vehicle is presenting the fault.
How long does a diagnostic take?
This depends on the complexity of the issue. Some faults are straightforward, while others require more in-depth testing. We will carry out an initial diagnostic session, if additional time is required we'll reach out and discuss what we've found and still need to look at with the extra time.
Will diagnostics tell me exactly what needs to be fixed?
Our goal is to identify the root cause and provide clear direction, though in some cases further testing may be needed to confirm the best repair path.
